Weekend Visitors

Last weekend we had a nice visit from Grammy, Aunt Talicee, Caden and Vance. It was a short visit but we packed in a lot of fun and had a great time. They got here late Friday night and Lincoln could hardly contain himself - he was so excited to play with his cousins.  Caden and Vance love Legos as much as Lincoln does so he thought it was so cool to have people around to play Legos with.
The kiddos got to bed late but I couldn't blame them because they were having so much fun together.  Our weekend consisted of a primary water activity at church, playing with water in the backyard, a trip to the mall and Target, church on Sunday and lots of visiting. Even though the trip was short we're still glad they all came to see us!

Aunt Talicee was also a great help and kept the boys entertained. 

Father's Day

Father's Day was low key this year but Ricky says he enjoyed it.  The boys were pretty good which helps everyone have a calmer more enjoyable day.  We just went to church, had a nice chicken dinner and Ricky opened a few little presents from the boys. We got to talk to Grandpa but Papa Tutu was on an airplane to England so we just got to send him a little text message.  All in all it was an easy going nice day and we are really grateful for Ricky and the great daddy that he is.

 Lincoln picked this card out for Ricky from the boys.  He was so proud of it and thought it was super cool that it came with a badge (button) for daddy to wear.

Lincoln's Room

Grandma Tutu sent Lincoln some little airplanes to add to the decor in his room.  They were model planes that we first had to put together and then we decided that it would be cutest to hang them from his ceiling.  It's taken longer than I expected...drilling holes in the planes, adding the wire, hanging the hooks, etc. but we're glad it's finally finished. I think it turned out as we had hoped...which is super cute and fun for his room.

Summer Fun

Summer just barely started but we've been super busy with lots of fun activities.  Lincoln has been to Pump It Up (a bounce house place) the gym, reading days at Kara's house and has had a friends over to play. He's also earned a few new Lego sets to keep him busy. We've been swimming, shopping, playing with water in the backyard, and even had cousins over for the weekend.

Along with all the fun stuff we've had the normal life activities like doctor's appointment, dentist appointments, hair cuts, grocery shopping, Costco runs, church, etc.  Everyday brings a new list of things to accomplish.  Despite the fact that the summer heat is officially here to stay, we are still enjoying our busy summer.

 Logan learned that he can hold the squirters to spray exactly where and who he wants.

 These two got along perfectly for the weekend and were best buds. 

 Sadie and Logan played a bit together but are still a little young so they seemed to do their own thing.

 This is the easiest way to take care of three kids.  Thank goodness for technology.  We love the ipad!

 Erica likes to snuggle with cousins while watching movies.
