Date Nights

I was a lucky girl this week.  I went on three different date nights with three different boys.  Yep, I did. My three favorite boys.  Not being able to play tennis has left my evenings open.  My first date night Lincoln and I went to Michael's and to frozen yogurt.  It was nice to spend some good one on one time with him.  He was so excited in Michael's about all of the Halloween decorations that I let him pick one to buy and take home.  He really wanted a scary skull thing but we settled on some decorative witch books.

A couple nights later Logan and I went to dinner and Sam's Club.  He thought he was pretty special that he got to be on date night with me.  He must have said "date night" about 20 times throughout the night.  While we were at Sam's Club I asked him if he was ready to go home and he said, no, he wanted to go on date night.  I think he was disappointed when he realized dinner and shopping was all date night consisted of but now days, that's a typical date night for me.  He got spoiled with an Icee at Sam's Club and he was such a cute sweet boy the entire night.  When he's in a sweet mood then he's a lot of fun to be around.

The best night of the week was date night with Ricky.  Unfortunately I was sick (still am) but since we already had the babysitter lined up I didn't want to cancel.  The boys look forward to the babysitter about as much as Ricky and I look forward to going out.

We tried a new Mongolian BBQ place and it was disgusting!  I normally like Mongolian BBQ but there was something not right with this one.  I think I maybe ate three bites before I couldn't choke down anymore.  Ricky didn't like his either but he ate it for the sake of not wasting the money.  Luckily the manager gave us a refund on mine.  Because I have the best husband in the world he took me somewhere else to eat.  I admit I did just chose Taco Bell because I wanted to hurry up and move onto other things but it worked. Lesson learned.  Won't be going back to that Mongolian place again.  We then went shopping to all those stores that we can't take the boys like Pier 1, Hobby Lobby, World Market, etc. The best part of my day is when Ricky told me that he is actually starting to like interior decorations.  It made me smile.  He's coming around. I love decorations so for him to like and appreciate them was nice to hear.

We were only out for several hours before my medicine wore off, my energy dropped and we had to head home. It was still great to be out alone with Ricky for that short time and to enjoy each others company.  I love spending time with my boys and it was nice to get some special one on one time with each of them this week!
I didn't take pictures of all the nights but this is Logan and I at dinner.
