We are so lucky to live so close to a beautiful spring training facility. We got tickets to a charity game on Monday. It was such a beautiful afternoon. We took the boys knowing they wouldn't last long but figured we would stay as long as we could. I love baseball...Rick, not so much. The boys seemed to be interested in the beginning with the crowd, the stadium and all the excitement. After the second inning Logan was ready to call it quits. Ricky took him home for a nap and Lincoln and I stayed for a while. Lincoln liked to guess if the batter was going to hit or miss and each time up for bat. It was a fun game to keep his interest. We sat in different seats all around the stadium. (That's what happens when you have a 3 year old active little boy.) It wasn't crowded so we had good seats to choose from. Moving around helped Lincoln to get a different perspective on everything. We left after the sixth inning but really enjoyed it. I would like to go back again soon for another game.
Lincoln loved that he had his own ticket.
He wanted to make sure nothing would happen to it.
Not bad seats. Four rows back right by the dugout.
We forgot his hat so he's being a trooper with the sun in his eyes for a picture.
It's hard not to like sports being in our family. I hope he will find a sport that he enjoys playing.
He waived at the players as they came into the dugout.
National Anthem time.
I don't know how much of it he really understood but he tried to take it all in.
My three loves.
Logan's first baseball game!
