School Christmas Program

Friday was the boys Christmas program at school.  They've been practicing their songs for weeks and we were excited to see them perform with their classes.  Since it rained here they had it inside but it still turned out to be really cute.  Lincoln's class started out the program by leading everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance and singing "My Country 'Tis of Thee."

Logan's class sang "Up On The House Top" and Logan stood near the front center and sang his little heart out.  He did all of the motion and was absolutely as adorable as he could be. He noticed us watching him pretty early on but didn't try to leave the stage and showed no signs of stage fright.  He was so proud of himself and was the last one to leave the stage.
Lincoln's class sang "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth" and they used a cute little prop that was a mouth missing it's two front teeth.  They then sang "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and then left the stage. We returned to the classrooms with the boys to share in milk and cookies with each of them.

We were so proud of them!  Rick and I were smiling ear to ear watching them sing and enjoy the experience.  They were sweet as could be. It was a great moment for us as parents and a great way to get into the holiday spirit.
 Walking in with his class.
I pledge allegiance, to the flag...
I'm cute and I know it.
 Up on the house top....
 Ho, Ho, Ho...
Now everyone can take my picture.
Performing was hard work.  Now he's ready for milk and cookies.
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth...
 Merry Christmas with jazz hands.
I think he was listening to his teacher say something but either way I thought this was a sweet picture.
