Gaylord's Plantation

We were trying to find some fun activities for the boys to do each day.  We found a neat little place called Gaylord's Plantation.  It was home to a small running plantation, train ride, a petty zoo, ceramics shop and restaurant. We decided to go try it out.

We started with the boys painting their own special ceramic ornaments.  They took it very seriously and surprisingly they both turned out to be great works of art. We then rode the train which was especially exciting for Logan who LOVES trains.  The train took us on on a tour through the plantation with a stop to feed some animals.  By the time we were done with all of that it was time for lunch so we enjoyed a delish lunch on the patio of the mansion turned restaurant.  It's probably not a place we would've gone if we didn't have the kids but it turned out to be a very enjoyable experience for us all.
