Date Night With Lincoln

I think it's important from a young age to teach children about the arts.  I love all aspects of the arts and was exposed to a lot of it growing up.  I just found out one of my friends has only been to two plays in her entire life (she's 36 years old) and they were both in the last six months.  She doesn't enjoy them really which I find hard to understand.  I'm sure that some of that has to do with the fact that she was not introduced to it growing up. I believe appreciation for the arts is important.  I'm lucky that instinctively both Lincoln and Logan love music. They have natural dance abilities, they have rhythm and so far seem to have decent singing voices.

My point in all of this is that for months I've been planning to take Lincoln on date night to see the Lion King and the night finally arrived. We headed downtown for dinner and the show. It was my first time at the ASU Gammage theater and I must say it was a nice venue. The show was just as amazing as I remember it from seeing it before and Lincoln seemed to really like it.  He danced in his chair several times throughout the show and was quite engaged in the story and characters. I love getting to spend some special one on one time with the boys and especially when I can share in such a memorable experience.

PS. Logan and Daddy had a special date night too. They went out to dinner and then did project around the house together.
