Elfie

We spent the Friday after Thanksgiving lounging around the house, watching movies and decorating for Christmas. I hit a great sale at Michael's on Thanksgiving evening and picked up our Christmas tree. We've decided to try a fake tree for the next several years.  I love it!  The boys helped me decorate and the best thing is that we aren't vacuuming up dead needles everyday and I don't have to water it. It looks perfectly green every day

We also started a new tradition this year.  We adopted an Elf!!  We (Lincoln) gave him the name Elfie and he is officially now part of our family...we have the adoption certificate to prove it!  We also got a  great letter from Santa about taking good care of Elfie and how he will be reporting back to the North Pole each night.  The boys have enjoyed waking up each morning to find Elfie and see what he was possibly up to during the night.
