London - British Museum

Most of our first day back in London was spent traveling back from Harrogate and then getting to our new hotel. We stayed at the Lancaster London which was a beautiful place to stay. Again, right across the street from Hyde Park. We spent the afternoon at the British Museum and then getting dinner and seeing a show.  The museum was huge so we didn't see it all. We focused on the things we wanted to see...the Rosetta Stone and mummies. =) Well, we did see more than that but we spent a lot of time in those areas.  Here are a few pictures from that adventure.

Ricky has a miniature version of this on his shelf which is a bookend.
The Rosetta Stone

If you dint like seeing naked sculptures of people this was probably not the museum for you.
Just sayin.

We saw Book of Mormon because we wanted to see what it was all about. I was very hesitant originally because I knew there were a few songs that were not good (i.e. offensive) but we decided to be open minded and try to understand how others see Mormons. Overall I think it was good. I personally didn't think it was worthy of all of the hype it's getting but it was entertaining.  It's not going to be for everyone...especially very conservative traditional LDS members.

The theater was quite small which made our balcony seats pretty awesome.
