Ricky has a favorite book store that he wanted to go to and I wanted to take the boys to the Discovery Science Center downtown. We also wanted to take the boys over to Temple Square and make the day of it.
Logan gets so excited to play supermarket where he can push the cart and check himself out at the register. This was the perfect start to our visit at the museum.
The special exhibit was Bob the Builder so the boys got to meet him - although they weren't as impressed as I thought they'd be.
One of Lincoln's favorite exhibits was the KSL news desk. He pretended to be a news anchor and also gave us the weather report. He was really into it when he realized there were cameras and TV's hanging from the ceiling where he could see himself at the desk. I was surprised at how well he really did. Watch out...Lincoln reporting live from SLC could really happen one day.
The other big hit with the boys was the medical exhibit where they got to sit in this life flight chopper for a while. It was a chore to pull them out of there - typical boys!
I was hoping for a really nice family picture on Temple Square. What I got was a family picture and Logan's crossed eyes....in EVERY picture. Oh well, the reality is that this picture captures the moment perfectly!
My sweet, precious, tender, crazy and super cute boys!
This was the first time that either of them had been inside the tabernacle.
We all enjoyed sitting in the room with this statue. It is something the boys have come to associating with temples.
Downtown at the new City Center
We spent the night at Spencer and Kristin's so the boys could play with their cousins. It was a really nice visit and we always enjoy our time with them. Unfortunately this time was a short trip.
