Florida Trip - Day 5 - Disney's Hollywood Studios

This turned out to be the park we went to twice.  There was much more to do than I originally expected and the boys (by that I mean mostly Ricky and Lincoln) loved how much Star Wars stuff there was to see. We got there right at park opening so that we could sign the boys up to participate in the Jedi Training Academy experience, which includes them fighting Darth Vader as part of a show. Lincoln has done it a couple of times in Disneyland but Logan has never had the chance. He was excited and a bit nervous but it was so fun to watch them and they were absolutely heart-melting adorable. We saw the Indiana Jones stunt show, Fantastic and two different movies about Star Wars. We also met Kylo Ren and a Jawa. I took the boys on Tower of Terror and they both went on their first upside-down rollercoaster. Rockin' Rollercoaster was Lincoln's favorite ride of the week. Daddy didn't do so well after riding on Everest the day before so he was out of commission for the big rides for the req of the week. I can't believe I have two little thrill seeking, dare devils, brave little guys but it sure makes it a lot of fun.
Our first ride of the day was the Great Movie Ride. Logan asked me numerous times if the animatronics were real people.
The storm troopers were on patrol and wouldn't stop for pictures so we let them photo bomb Lincoln.

Props or replicas from the movies.

The Jawa was pretty hilarious. How he/she interacted with the crowd was true to character.
Not only did Kylo Ren look the part, he sounded the part also.  He did a great job!

We ate a special fancy lunch at the Italian restaurant as part of our Fantastic package. It was delicious and I was very proud of the boys for trying new things.

 My little Jedi's.

Logan (in the black Vader hat) learning to use the light saber.
Lincoln listening to the Jedi Master.
Darth Vader and the Seventh Sister
Logan getting ready to fight Darth Vader.
Logan taking a few swings at Vader with the direction of the Jedi Master.
Logan did such a great job and definitely used the force.
Lincoln left the robe hat on so he was a little harder to see but he had a few good shots at Vader also.

Kylo Ren  also came out at the end.
Logan watching and listening carefully as he learned you never know what to expect next.

This was a big day in growing up. They both happily survived an upside down ride.
We searched high and low for Officer Judy Hopps and Nick Wild. Logan was beyond thrilled when we found them. That was his souvenir from the parks.
We had amazing seats for Fantastic but unfortunately I didn't like the show as much as the one in CA.
We did have a little scare where Logan ran off to a vending cart to see the light up ears and we didn't know where he was.  He was only gone about 3-5 minutes but it felt like an eternity. I definitely got scared and was on the verge of panicked when he came running back to find us. Luckily he figured out where our seats were and made it back. He got a bit spooked also, which probably is a good thing in the long run.

This is the note that Logan made back at the hotel this night. It translates to, "It was good and awesome too."
It was so wonderful to have another successful day of magic and making memories.
