Our Utah Retreat

After leaving Florida we flew straight to Salt Lake City, Utah. All of the Phillips family was meeting in Park City for three days for a Live-Right/Phillips family retreat. We knew if was going to be a quick trip but the boys were excited for the time to play with their cousins and most of all, we were excited to see Tutus who had flown home for a short visit from their mission in Jordan.

It was a long day of travel but all very successful. We arrived in SLC late into the evening and we stayed with Spencer and Kristin.  We didn't know that JJ, Jennifer, Nolan and Brandon were also staying there along with Tutu so it was a nice surprise for the boys in the morning when they woke up and got to play with more cousins.

The next morning we met with the family members involved with our company Products Matter, for a company meeting at Cafe Rio. The kids all did such a great job of playing together on their iPads that we were able to have a productive two hour meeting.

That afternoon we checked into the lodge, relaxed for a bit and had dinner with the family at the resort.  Ricky and I were still a bit rocky from the ship and I'm not sure the high altitude helped but it was nice to be in a massive hotel suite and spread out for a couple of days since we were coming straight from the tiny rooms on the cruise ship. I had never been to Park City before and so far it was as beautiful and relaxing as I expected it would be.

This kid is too cool for school.
All on his own, Logan figured out that there were jets in the tub so he put himself in the bath one night and played for an hour in the tub with the jets on. He was happy as a clam.
