Day in Disneyland Resort

Warning: picture overload. Disneyland is one of my favorite places to take pictures, especially of my children! As we do every year, we spent a day in Disneyland Resort as a family with Grammy. This year Ricky joined us and we got to go during my favorite time of year. We got there first thing in the morning and knocked out all of the big rides in the first couple of hours. We got lucky and the crowds were light until early afternoon. We maximized Fast Passes and the longest wait time was about 15 minutes for any ride. Even in the evenings the lines weren't too long. We stayed until park closing and then did some shopping in World of Disney because the boys had gift cards they were trying to spend.

The boys did a great job of being patient in lines, they were good buddies to each other and it really was a wonderful day.

The boys wanted Matterhorn to be their first ride. Here is a list of all the rides we did between the two parks: Matterhorn, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Railroad (twice), Star Tours, Buzz Lightyear, Indian Jones, Jingle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Tarzan's Tree House, Tour of the Main Street Train, Cars, Soarin' Over the World, Mickey's Sun Wheel, Toy Story Mania, and we saw, the Frozen show, the Christmas parade and the fireworks show.
On the tram ride to the entrance of the park.
My three loves.
These handsome boys at the entrance of Disneyland.

I love that they still love the characters.
First ride of the day was a success. This is the before picture.
This is the during picture when they got splashed.
This is the after picture and their smiles are priceless.
Sick from the turning and wanting to go again.
Breakfast stop at Tomorrowland Terrace.
While eating breakfast we ran into these two who were away from Utah on a date weekend. Ricky's cousin KD and her husband Ryan.

Family picture in front of the castle.
The boys got to blow the train whistle and we got some rare close up pictures of the train from this side.

The boys got taught all about the train and how it works from the train engineer.

Logan in his happy place.
Haunted Mansion that was all done up with Jack Skelington.

Daddy and the boys in the front of our Car in the Cars ride.

Up in the Mickey Sun Wheel.

The marching toy soldiers are my favorite part of the parade. I could watch them play all day.
Mickey & Minnie in the parade.
Santa looked right down on the boys as he told the crowd he was watching them and to be nice.
The set of the Frozen show.
Last picture of the night - watching the fireworks and snow fall from Town Square and telling the boys how Daddy proposed to me on Main Street 14 years ago.
