With Tutus back in Idaho for the summer, now that they are home from their mission, we headed to Idaho with plans to be gone for a month. The boys are so good about traveling in the car. They watch movies, play iPads, we take lots of snacks and they manage it really well. We let them earn money, $1.00 per hour, if they are good, don't fight and don't ask if we are there yet. It's a pretty good motivator for them because they wanted extra souvenir money for the trip. We try to stay at the same Hampton Inn in St. George, which is our halfway point. It was an easy and incident free trip up to Idaho.
We stopped in to see the trains in this restaurant while Ricky gassed the car but we decided not to eat here.
The billboard with the boys picture on it for the Museum of Clean. Logan says this makes him a VIP.
Beautiful sunset view from Tutus house.
Tutu brought home some special things from Jordan for the boys. Christmas ornaments, hand made crafts, chefs and train engineer hats respectively.
Our first week in Idaho we met Micah and Kolissa and the girls in town for dinner at Pizza Pie Cafe. Eating at that place is a tradition for us when we are there and Micah and Kolissa like to join us if they can. It was so fun to see their girls. They are tiny but growing up so quickly. The boys loved playing with their cousins.
Odette was a bit sick but she was sure entertained and interested in Lincoln.
This was my "office" view as I worked from Tutus house for a few weeks while we were up there.
