Happy 1st Birthday Logan!

I don't know why I'm always surprised that time goes by so quickly.  My baby is already a year old!  He has come so far in his first year and has changed so much.  It's starting to feel like he is a toddler verses the baby stage.  He is really a good little guy.  We had a small family birthday party which will be followed up by a Disneyland trip next week.

Recap:
He is mostly happy, laughs at funny things, is patient, sleeps well, eats well, loves rides in the car or walks in the stroller.  He is quite the mover, except when he wants to be attached to mom or dad. He tries so hard to be by his brother or do whatever he's doing. He wears 18-24 month clothes.  He weighs 20 pounds.  He's been slimming down since he started crawling.  He has six teeth with a few more almost out.  Not so much into specific characters or toys yet. Favorite food = anything. He still naps twice a day for a couple hours each time. He crawls at light speed and can walk across the room but isn't walking on his own yet on any sort of a regular basis.  Logan has amazing rhythm and loves to dance.  He has some pretty awesome moves!  He is such a joy and a blessing to our family.

Happy Birthday!
 Showing off the pearly whites.
New toy from Tutu's.  First time he had balloons.
Hopefully Santa will bring Lincoln a bike for Christmas because Logan really wants Lincoln's tricycle.

He loved when we all sang happy birthday.  I know it's blurry but I couldn't pass up sharing that smile.
When you only have 30 minutes to decorate a cake and you don't prepare and make enough frosting to put on your borders or frost the cake thick enough you end up with this.
At least it tasted really good!
Let him eat cake.  I let him have at it until he was not interested anymore.
Lincoln always enjoys anything sugar - especially cake.
So, the party hat wasn't a hit.  I think he kept it on for all of 30 seconds.
What kid doesn't love Legos?  Logan got a new box of them for his birthday in addition to PJ's, some other toys and a new car seat. I was so impressed that with all of the pieces in the lego set that Logan picked the window and the piece that it goes with.  He immediately tried to put them together.
We love you birthday boy!
