This was our conversation as I was getting ready to walk out the door for my match.
Ricky: Good luck tonight. Lincoln, tell mommy good luck at tennis.
Lincoln: Good luck and don't get mad.
Ricky: Good advice bud.
Me: Thanks.
Lincoln: And don't lost the game.
A few minutes later I was in my office shutting down my computer.
Lincoln: Mom, come on, your gonna miss your tennis game!
I love that all three of my boys are so supportive of me. I didn't realize that my three year old was so insightful. He knows me better that I realize. He's actually never seen me play but apparently he knows I'm competitive.
Last nights match brought an interesting element. It was crazy windy. I don't know that I've played in that kind of wind before. It can really change your strategy in the game. Good news though is that my partner Michelle and I won again! Our scores were 6-3 and 6-2. It was a good match. We had some fun, played well and adjusted to the wind. So far so good. I still love this sport!

So glad you've found something you love to do! That is sooo great, and it will be much easier to stick with than a boring old treadmill. I wish we had some kind of adult sports programs in po-dunk-ah. (PS--thats what everyone I know calls Poky now haha)
