Every year our city does a huge Easter egg hunt. They have 50,000 eggs for the day! They break it up into five different age groups and use two fields per age group. This was Logan's first egg hunt. He had a hard time being patient before they started but once we got going he loved it. He squeals with joy every time he sees the Easter bunny. It's adorable.
And he's off!
He had no idea they had treats in them. He just wanted to play with the eggs.
He was a little hesitant at first of putting the eggs in his basket. I don't think he realized that he still got to keep them if they were in his basket.
Once he saw the big jelly beans he stayed in that spot for a while. =)
Loading up the jelly beans.
Contemplating his strategy or just tired? I think a little of both.
Lincoln was a pro at this by now. He knew exactly what to do.
Daddy was a big help by holding his basket.
He was so proud of himself and we were proud of him too. It's the little things that make me realize my baby is growing up.
Logan was so excited to see Lincoln after his turn on the field.
They had fun sharing in the festivities together.
We have a double stroller but Lincoln wanted to walk so we only brought the single stroller. I think after everything was done Lincoln was more tired than he realized and wanted to ride in the basket. Silly boy.
