New York Trip - Day 5, Part I

Live with Regis and Kelly was our first stop of the day. I sent a post card several months ago requesting tickets and was SO excited when I received a letter stating we received tickets for today. The guest were Cory Monteith who plays Finn Hudson on Glee and Ashley Herbert from the Bachelorette and her new fiancé JP. I wasn't super excited about the guests since I don't watch either of those shows but it was still fun to be there. I'm pretty fascinated by TV sets.  I've been to several and I'm always amazed at the entire operation.  On the day we went they did one full live show and then taped segments for two additional shows. We ended up being there for a few hours. 
Kelly Ripa is as cute and tiny as ever.  She was more funny off camera than she is on camera. Regis was quite nice and shorter than I expected.  At every commercial break both of them would come and talk to and interact with the audience. Unfortunately we were toward the top of the audience so we weren't able to get down to take pictures with them.  It was still really fun to see.

 Kelly was doing a tribal dance around Regis. She had the outfit on for it so she was sort of making fun of it.

At the end of the show they took questions from the audience for a few minutes and then headed backstage.
