Catching Up or Just a Phase?

Logan went from essentially no watching TV at all to watching it for a few minutes to being totally obsessed with it.  The last two weeks the only thing he's wanted to do at home during his waking hours is watch movies. And by movies I mean two.  Once one is done, then he switches it for the other....over and over again.  He can't get enough of them.  Ricky, Lincoln and I on the other hand are REALLY over his two movies - they are making us crazy.  I will admit Logan has watched more TV in the last two weeks then I would like (and more than any kid should really watch in a day) but he won't do anything else and when we turn off the TV he walks around the house with the DVD cases begging/whining for his movie to be put on.  I'm thinking it's just a phase but it sure it nice to be a able to cook, clean, shower, etc without him being on our hip. He is for once, actually entertained.

Preferred movies:
I'm surprised this DVD has made it as long as it has.  It has to be getting pretty worn out by now.  Logan loves Yo Gabba Gabba.

Specifically he loves Jack and Mini Bike!

Shapes and Colors comes in a close second.  This movie (and music) will put any parent over the edge.  I'm excited for the day to come that he will replace this favorite with something the rest of us can enjoy, or at least stand.

funny kid. My oldest went through a Yo Gabba Gabba phase too. Try this one if you haven't yet. At least they'll be learning to read this way.
