Labor Day Weekend

Poor Logan was sick on Saturday and Sunday so that became movie time for us.  We did some projects around the house, played Legos, read books and just relaxed.  Thank goodness that we had Monday off so that we could go out and have fun.  We tried a new indoor amusement park called Jambo.   We met Lisa, and her two kids Dylan and Sadie, over there.  The kids had a blast! While I was thinking most of the time how I could better operate the place, the boys didn't seem to mind the inefficiencies and lack of customer service. They just went from ride to ride and enjoyed themselves. They went on the three rides about four times each, played in the jungle gym climbing area, played arcade games, played a round of miniature golf and Lincoln and Dylan did lazer tag. We had a nice little pizza lunch inside and ended up staying there for nearly four hours. I would go back but it's one of those places that we'll likely hit a couple times a year. I was glad we ventured out to try something new because it was a successful trip.

We spent some time that evening playing with water in the backyard and then cleaned up, ate dinner and got prepped for school the next day.  Overall it was a fun, relaxing weekend.  I love three day weekends!
Lincoln dressed up in one of his many costumes.
Logan loved the train.  It was his very favorite activity of the day.
The swings were a close second to the train.
This is the Jambo version of the Disneyland Dumbo ride.
Logan had pretty good technique during golf.
Logan and Sadie on the swings.
Lincoln, as usual, hit a jackpot on this game and earned himself 125 tickets.  I'm taking this kid to Vegas with me!

Lisa made this cute little collage on her phone.
Relaxing in the pool.  Logan is feeling the rain that fell on us for a bit while we played outside.
