We purchased an Easter egg hunt map for the boys. There is a large egg, painted to look like a character, hidden in every country and the boys had to find it and when they did, they matched the right sticker to the empty slot on their map. It was a really good way to keep the boys engaged. Another thing we did was to try food in almost every country. I was so impressed that the boys also wanted to try new things and were excited about it.
Here is what we ate:
France - crepes with ice cream
Morocco - spicy chicken skewers and falafel
Japan - noodles and beef
Mexico - nachos
Norway - pastries - trolls horn and school bread
China - beef bun
America - Coca Cola icee and bbq pork with corn salad and crispy onions
The boys loved the Moroccan food the best. Logan liked the falafel and Lincoln begged all day for more spicy chicken skewers. Ricky liked the China beef bun best and I liked the Japanese beef and noodles.
I am always looking for ways to teach my boys about diversity of culture and this was such a wonderful learning experience for them. We walked through each country, tried to take in the entertainment when we could and see the types of toys sold in the stores. By the end of the day, everyone was very tired, Lincoln had fallen off a bench and scraped his back, so we called it another early night and headed to the hotel.

Logan's awesome truck he designed for our first test track ride.
The boys cars actually tied in performance. Who know, I may have some engineers on my hands.
We watched the sea turtle attack (not really but he did bite him) the diver in the aquarium.

These are beads that I bought in the outpost. They are made from old Disneyland and Disneyworld maps. The money goes to helping the women in Uganda who made the jewelry. Each and every piece was different and it was amazing to see the craftsmanship of each piece. Beautiful work and concept.
