My Birthday!

The celebrations for my birthday this year were spread over the course of several days. It started early with birthday ice cream cake...which is my favorite! I took the day off work on my birthday so that I could spend the day doing fun relaxing things without the stress of work.

Rick got the boys ready for school so that I could sleep in. The boys came in and sang happy birthday to me before leaving for school. I started the activities for the day with a massage. Then I got to go take lunch to Logan at school and visit with him. I then met Lisa at Applebee's for lunch for my favorite salad. We sat and talked for two hours over lunch which was a treat for me. After a little shopping, I picked the boys up from school and then headed home. That evening we went to dinner at P.f. Chang's for an incredibly delicious birthday dinner.  I opened presents while we waited for our food. My boys spoiled me this year. I got some new shoes, a hat, an electric razor, a chair and a Hero 5 Go Pro camera! Super excited to try that out.

The boys had swim lessons so they dropped me off at the theater nearby. I sat peacefully, without any responsibilities, and watched Collateral Beauty. It was an entertaining movie with a great message.

The celebrations continued on Friday with another birthday dinner (Mexican food this time!) and then we took some pictures in to get framed. It's our family picture from 2016 and another piece that has the fingerprints from each member of our family. I've been wanting these framed and up in the house for a while so it was a good present.

Saturday night my Fab 5 girlfriends took me out to celebrate with a trip to the Tempe Improv, to see Carlos Messina, dinner and a stop at Talking Stick for some roulette. The night was filled with hours of laughter, good conversation, and fun memories.

I'm grateful for such a loving family and wonderful friends that helped me feel loved and have a memorable 35th birthday!

My ice cream cake birthday cake.
Logan asked me to come have lunch with him on my birthday. I usually go for theirs so I thought it was cute he thought we should spend my birthday lunch together.
This is Logan's best friend, Caden.
I didn't get to see Lincoln but he teacher sent out a picture of him hard at work.
I was impressed to be showered by gifts from all three of the boys. Daddy stepped up his game and got me a GoPro, a chair, a beanie, shoes and some cards.

 My cute birthday dates.

I also received yummy treats and sweet gifts from friends also.
Tempe Improve - Carlos Messina. It was a great night except we were missing Bam Bam because she got sick.

We had a quick trip to the casino where I walked out a winner...a whopping $17.50 gain. It was still a fun evening filled with tons of laughs and great memories.
