Welcome 2017

January was off to a very busy start, filled with run of the mill activities. The boys were excited to be back in school to see their friends and tell them all the things they did over winter break and to share what they got for Christmas. We quickly resumed Scouts, swimming lessons, homework and everything else that comes along with the start of the new year and family life. We still managed to also continue to sneak in a few fun weekend activities.  I am excited for 2017 and what it will bring our little family!
Scout family pack meeting. Logan is anxiously awaiting his turn to join when he turns 8 and officially becomes a cub scout.

One of our favorite places to eat is Cafe Rio. It's even more awesome when you have enough points to feed your family of four for absolutely nothing out of my pocket. I was pretty impressed with myself.
Date Day - Mom and boys had lunch together on a Saturday afternoon before the movies. They picked Rubio's. They eat the same thing every time - bean burrito, rice and beans with chips and a churro.
This is by far my new favorite movie of all time. It was amazing. I'm so glad that I got to take the boys to see it. The story itself is amazing but the balance of topics, music and acting was incredible. It was nice to have been to NASA previously so the boys could relate to what they were seeing. Even though it's really not a kids movie, they understood what was happening and learned a lot from it.
Logan has been working very hard on his spelling words. Week after week he continues to rock it, with scores of 100%!
This is some art work that Lincoln drew in art class.
Lincoln learned, and drew about, the Prehistoric Tribes of Arizona.
