Logan's Field Trip

One of my favorite things to do is go on the school field trips with the boys. If I wasn't working, I've love to volunteer more in their classrooms but it just isn't possible. The field trip is a way for me to spend the day with each boy and their friends as part of their fun learning experience.  This year, Logan's Spring field trip took place April 11th and we went to the AZ Science Center. I just had to chaperone Logan and one other student in his class. We had a blast. There were a million kids there but we navigated through the crowds and got everything accomplished. Logan is super sweet when I chaperone. He holds my hand and makes sure his friends listen to me if I give instructions.

Logan loves to be signed out and come home early right after the field trip, instead of riding the bus back to school. It's a pretty big deal for him to feel like he's getting out of school early. We made the most of it by stopping by Baskin Robins for a special ice cream treat. Fun and adventurous day!
Logan was pretty intrigued by this machine that acted like an x-ray, MRI all in one. He really took a lot of time exploring all of the different bones, muscles, etc of the human body.
The digestion noises were a hit. They couldn't stop laughing every time they went down the slide and heard the fart noise.
