The boys have been begging for the chance to ride Screaming Over California, the biggest roller coaster in the park. For a long time Logan wasn't tall enough to go so it was never a question, we just didn't go. This time, the boys knew they were tall enough and made their case for wanting to ride. Thankfully, there was just a ten minute wait. Lincoln and I went first while Grammy and Logan waited. Lincoln absolutely loved it. He had his arms up and was brave but I know he was pretty nervous too because he wasn't sure what to expect. Next I took Logan. Same thing. Nervous but excited and anxious to see what this upside down loop was all about. After riding it twice the boys convinced me that I should let Lincoln ride by himself and I ride again with Logan. I don't know why I let them talk me into it...(It's because I love them) but I went anyway. By the end of that third ride I had to call it quits. I was definitely feeling the effects of the g-forces by then.
After a delicious lunch at the bakery in the wharf, a stop to watch the Frozen show, and a private meet & greet with Stitch, we met up with Nancee and Troy and their family for the afternoon. The kids rode the remaining kids rides, Ariel's and Soarin' Over the World with their cousins. We also played on the Adventure Trail for an hour or so. The boys had so much fun experiencing the excitement of DCA with their cousins. Our last ride of the night was Cars. We spent the rest of the evening in the Animation building where we talked with Crush the turtle and took a drawing class to draw Goofy. We ended up staying almost to park closing. We were all pretty wiped out from the long day and headed back to our hotel for the night.
While I missed having Ricky with us, I'm still very glad I made the trip with the boys. It is a blessing as their mother to see the joy and excitement they have as we create fun and lasting memories together.
On our way into Disney's California Adventure
In line for Toy Story Mania. Who can resist these awesome glasses?!
Lincoln's first time on Screamin'
Logan's first time on Screamin'
This is after the ride was over and we were pulling into the station. I hear Logan say, "that was awesome!"
On the top of the ferris wheel
Lincoln and me on Cars
This ride always makes us laugh. The boys loved to be squished.

Boys eating broccoli cheese soup at the wharf. They loved feeding the ducks in the water below.
Donald asked Lincoln to walk him to his area. Donald grabbed Lincoln's hand and took him with him.
The statue of Walt in the square.
Stitch had about ten minutes to interact with the boys. He played with Lincoln's hat, hugged and kissed them.
Lincoln, Erica, Sadie and Logan
Me with Blake
Logan and Erica
Erica and Logan paired up since Lincoln had to take Sadie.
This was our first time seeing Nick and Officer Judy Hopps in the parks. Logan was especially excited to see them.
Cousins and characters!
Challenge Trail with all of the cousins together.
The kids tried to make sure that Blake was involved so they caught him at the end of the slide.
Logan was brave and faced his fear of heights so he could climb the ropes with his cousins.
Me, Grammy and Lincoln in the Cars ride.
Logan and me on racers.
Lincoln wasn't very happy with his Goofy but I thought he did a great job.
This was the first time that Logan was in the animation academy and his artistic abilities really shined.
Logan's Goofy picture. Unfortunately we didn't have time to finish so he rushed on his ears but I thought he did a great job for the speed of the class.
This is me channelling a little of Grandpa Berry's artistic skills and making Goofy. I was pretty impressed with myself.
