Utah Trip - Part 3

Memorial Day was jam packed with activities for the day.  We started the morning off at the Heber Valley Railroad with a ride on the Heber Creeper. It was Wild West Day so there were shoot outs and black and white pictures happening at the station. We actually had a heist on the train ride too before they got the gold back and we all got chocolate coins.

The afternoon was spent out on the trails in the mountains on a four wheel razor. It was quite the adventure and not my favorite thing. We packed some sandwiches and had lunch at a little stopping area but we were covered in dirt, it was hot and we were getting sunburned. The boys like the crazy angles and going fast. I liked going at a reasonable pace on flat surfaces. I may have been the party pooper on this one but my heart couldn't take the idea of us tipping over and one of the boys getting hurt. That may be a "boys only" activity next time. They loved it.

We found a fun hamburger joint in town that featured trains so we went there for dinner. They food was decent and the ice cream was delicious. Most importantly Logan was happy because he got to watch trains go around the dining room as we ate.

Tuesday, the next morning, was a day to sleep in, then we grabbed breakfast at a local breakfast spot. We got to eat outside because the weather was beautiful. That is a treat for us because Ricky doesn't typically like to eat outside. Food was delicious and it was just what we needed before heading to the airport. On the way to the airport we stopped at the Winter Olympics Training Park in Park City. It was a short stop but we got to see a few people jumping.

It was such a great trip. It was something that was planned for one reason but turned out to be something far more than what we anticipated. It was short but packed with fun memories. I love traveling with this little family of mine!
