I don't know who created the rain gutter regata event or how long it's been around but it seems to be a big event in scouting and the boys look forward to it. Logan got to participate in his first rain gutter regatta this year. He must of had either great skills or beginners luck because he won 1st place in his den. His boat only fell over once. Lincoln not only won 1st place in his den but he also won the fastest overall. I'm sure it's a combination of how well the boat holds up and some technical
aspect of how you blow in down the lane. Either way, my boys walked out happy cub scouts that night.
Lincoln also was awarded some belt loop awards that night.
I was asked to bring cupcakes and since I was working all day and had a tennis match that night, I opted for Sam's Club cupcakes and I bought cute sails to put in them.
