Our Pumpkin Patch Visit

This year was Logan's first trip to a pumpkin patch. We took Lincoln last year to the same place but I don't think he remembered it.  They have a petting zoo, train ride, bounce house, corn maze and several other fun activities for the kids. I recall ever going to a pumpkin patch as a kid and picking a pumpkin but I love the idea of it and we've made it a family tradition.
I gave up on trying to get the boys to look at me.  They were too distracted and excited about everything else going on around them.
Lincoln ran through the maze as fast as he could.
At one point we stopped and explained to him that he was actually running through corn.  It took him a minute but it was when we showed him the corn on the cob in the husk that he put it all together.
He is just the sweetest.  Everything was new to him and you could just see it on his face as he experienced new smells, textures and environments.
He was hesitant at first to sit in a box full of corn. He wasn't sure what to do.  After a minute of watching his brother and the other kids, he too quickly joined in the fun and began scooping, pushing and rolling in the corn.
Lincoln seems pretty fascinated with little chickens, no matter where we see them.  This year he wasn't too interested in any of the animals, except the baby chicks.
