Idaho Trip Day 8 - Outside

After a week of cold temperatures, rain and snow the sun finally decided to come out. It was finally warm enough to play outside. I could tell the boys were feeling couped up so it came at the right time. Ricky took them outside and encouraged them to play in the dirt, mud and lingering snow piles. They had a blast exploring all over Tutu's property.

We were all talking about how nice it was that we finally had a nice enough day to go outside. Lincoln chimed in with this insightful comment. "The sun doesn't come up in Idaho, only Arizona." Pretty good observation I think.

Friday night also brought girls night out! I was so excited. Ricky was gracious enough to stay with the boys while Sandi (mother-in-law) and Natalee (sister-in-law) went for pedicures, Mexican dinner and a movie. We saw Something Borrowed. I thought it was cute. I really like romantic comedies though. Definitely not a movie Ricky would want to see so it was perfect for us girls. I had a great time and a fun night out!

Logan loved being outside. This picture gives a little perspective for me.  He seems so big sometimes but really, he is a precious little guy.
As much the boys loved being outside and seeing the dogs and cats, they wanted daddy to protect them from being jumped on.

I think Logan may have some environmental allergies like me (pollen, grass, etc) but he was happy as a lark to be exploring outside.

The snow looked fun until they realized how cold it was to the touch.  They only played in it for a few minutes.
