Howdy Folks

Last weekend we braved the heat and headed to Chandler to visit the Wild West.  I've been wanting to take the boys to Raw Hide for a while so we finally just went before it gets any hotter. It wasn't crowded and there wasn't a ton to do but there were enough activities to keep the boys busy for a couple of hours. It's definitely a perfect place for little boys to run around and play. We walked through the museum, watched a stunt show, the boys rode several rides including donkeys and a a horse drawn carriage, they panned for gold and did a round in the shooting gallery.  By then we had been in the sun long enough and all of us started to get a little red so we got a treat in the sweet shop and we headed back home.  I would say the day was a success and the boys had a lot of fun, except for the trip and fall Logan had that scraped up his knee.

Logan was hesitant at first to see the stunt show fearing the guns would be too loud. About five minutes in he realized it wasn't so bad and they both asked to stay for the next show.

Lincoln was so brave and tried this ride. The round thing he is on moved and mimicked the movements of a bucking bull.  He stayed on for a long time and eventually got thrown off but he was a trooper. Reminded me of the time he rode the sheep in Idaho at the fair.
