Happy 8th Birthday Lincoln

Even thought we had been celebrating for a week, he was still eagerly awaiting his actual birthday.  We had a special day planned with lots of fun activities and special people. The morning started off with breakfast at the hotel. We then headed to La Habra to spend some time with cousins; Caden, Vance and Danica.  It was also a chance to see Grammy's new apartment - which was right next door to Tevye and Dana's place. The boys love their cousins and I wish they could see them more often.

After a great visit with cousins we headed to Downtown Disney to use some birthday gift cards to Build-A-Bear.  The boys each picked a special birthday animal that accompanied us on the remainder of our trip. When I turned 8, I got a special white stuffed animal cat that I named Snowball. I thought it would be nice for Lincoln to have a Baptism Bear.  After Build-A-Bear, Grammy got Logan into Disneyland to ride the train, since we had missed it the day before. It was a miracle that they let them in to do that. It was pretty unheard of (he didn't have a ticket but Mom explained that we were there the day before and the train closed early so we didn't get to ride it and it's his favorite thing to do) so they let him in.  We were all shocked, in a good way.

After our time in DTD we headed to the hotel to clean up before we met Tutu and Grandma and Grandpa at Benihana's for a special birthday dinner. Lincoln loves teppanyaki and wanted to go somewhere like Hyashi. We had a delicious dinner before heading to Anaheim for Lincoln's baptism.

All in all it was a wonderful activity filled, yet low key day to celebrate Lincoln.

Left: 2 years old - right: 8 years old.

 They've picked their friends....
Now they stuff them and give them a heart....

 Then they bath them.

 Birthday boy!

Grammy and Grandpa had to leave early to get the church and font opened so they missed the group picture at the end.
