We made arrangements for him to be baptized in the Stake Center in Anaheim, CA. We were blessed to have many friends and family members show up to support him. Uncle Barratt presided over the meeting since he is in a bishopric and daddy baptized him. Lincoln was very involved in picking who had what assignments in the program, the invitations, and also picked out the paper and pictures that I used to make the actual programs. Auntie Calee offered to make him a birthday cake and Lincoln also picked the design and flavors of the cake. I was so happy that the day was going to be centered around him and his choice to be baptized.
Some of Lincoln's favorites:
Favorite TV shows: SpongeBob, Star Wars Clone Wars, American Ninja Warrior and The Amazing Race
Favorite songs: He likes pop and some hip-hop songs. He enjoys beat boxing his own tunes as well.
Favorite foods: Nachos, bean dip, and BBQ (steak or pork). Lincoln just started eating cereal with milk recently and has become a favorite for bed snack...just like daddy.
Favorite school subject: Math and science
Friends: Jimmy and Thomas at school and Marissa and Vern at church
Things to do at home: watch Minecraft videos on Youtube, place Minecraft or Terraria on his iPad, play Legos or play football or basketball in the backyard with brother and daddy
Things to do: Swim class. He has done very well in swimming and really looks forward to it each week.
Favorite movies: Star Wars - The Force Awakens (he saw this in December a month after his birthday but said it was his favorite movie of all time!)
The program went as planned. The evening was lovely and memorable. We are so proud of the little boy that Lincoln has become. In many ways, he is wise beyond his years. He is very in tune with the feelings of others. He is well liked by his peers at church and school and makes friends easily. Lincoln is incredibly bright and does well in school. He is quite the creative artist. Lincoln loves drawing and writing in his journal. I love to have my date nights with him because he is such a sweet young man and I love that he loves to spend time with me. He is pretty funny too. He started calling me Babe because that's what daddy calls me. He does it to be funny and mess with me. I am thankful for the times that he protects and shows love towards his little brother. I pray that one day they will truly realize that brothers are meant to be best friends. I love him to the moon and back!
Since we didn't get a picture of everyone that attended, I want to list them for his reference one day.
Grandma & Papa Tutu, Barratt, Marci, Brayden and Ashlee. Marci's Mom Joan. Nancee, Troy, Erica, Sadie and Blake. Natalee. Roo, Annie, Esme and Penny. Grandpa & Grammy. Tevye, Dana, Caden, Vance, and Danica. Calee and Tony. Michaela. Ann, Marc and Karen Rizzo. Frank, Kim, Liam and Grayson Ellet.
This is the beautiful cake that Auntie Calee made Lincoln. We had that and an ice cream bar that Lincoln requested for dessert after the baptism.
This is one of my favorite pictures of these boys. Logan was so genuinely proud of Lincoln. He pointed to him all on his own as he knew this was his special day. Logan trailed Lincoln around all night and wanted to be in all his pictures with him. It was so incredibly sweet.
Look at these handsome guys. I love my boys so much!
Like father like son.

All the cousins (and Frank's kids) sang "I Am a Child of God" together as part of the program.

What's a baptism without a little game of football in the primary room while the adults are cleaning up!? Left: Lincoln, Vance, Caden, Liam, Danica, Grayson, and Logan
