Spring Break Trip - Day 1

Since the boys had a week off for Spring break, I wanted to plan something fun to give them something to do and look forward to over break. I planned a quick trip to CA. Rick stayed home and had a quick photo trip of his own while we were gone. He went to Saguaro National park and Oregon Pipe Park to take pictures of cactus.

Sunday morning I packed up the boys and drove to CA. The boys watched movies and played ipads in the car and the were perfectly behaved. We stopped in Rancho Mirage for an Italian lunch. We were served warm bread with oil and vinegar and we immediately began missing Daddy as we knew he would love the lunch stop. We arrived to Grammy's new apartment in Brea about 4:00 pm.
We got a quick tour of her place and then headed on to Auntie Calee's new condo in La Habra.
We had a nice dinner together and spent the evening visiting with Calee, Tev, Dana, Grammy and Grandpa and playing with cousins. Calee is just weeks away from delivering twins so it was fun to see the cute nursery and see their new place.

After an evening with family we headed to our hotel in Anaheim to get a good night sleep in preparation for the next two days of Disneyland!

Lunch stop. The boys picked it.
