December 30th in Kauai - North Shore

By this time now Grandma Tutu was getting more sick with the same nasty illness that I had.  She wasn't well enough to join us for breakfast so we went without her so she could sleep and Papa Tutu took food back to her. After breakfast we parted ways with Papa and our little family headed up to the north shore to check out the beaches there. The boys played in the water (although it was still too cold to really swim) we took a long walk down the beach, the boys played football and founds some interesting shells and animals along the beach that they played with. I was still sick but didn't want to stay in bed and miss out, plus I thought it would be good to get fresh air. After spending the afternoon at the beach we went back to our room to check on Grandma Tutu and take it easy for the evening.
Logan eating mango with lemon for breakfast again.
Daddy took pictures as we went along on our walk.

It's not a stop at the north shore if we can't get a snow cone.

When you are sick with no energy and your hair needs to get dried, you pay your son's do to it. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
This was the result of the boys drying my hair. At least all I had to do was flat iron it.
